Went to service on Easter and had a wonderful time. The church to invite friends and family wanting to build a relationship with Jesus.

The ushers are really not necessary. They never let people sit where they want. I have seen them make many people upset. I visited other churches and they all allow you to sit wherever. If we want more people to come and feel welcome and invited please change the way you are doing this. It has bothered me for a long time but today an usher really was very rude. I insisted on sitting somewhere three times and she did not allow me to. Please change this and allow people to sit anywhere they would like to enjoy the word of God and praise.

I just wanted to vent but also share our experience with this church that ultimately made us feel spiritually pushed away. I’m sharing this to hopefully prevent another family with an infant and toddler from experiencing the same treatment we did. My family visited this church three separate times because we sincerely wanted to grow in our relationship with God together. Unfortunately, every single visit left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. From our very first visit, staff spoke to us rudely and told us not to sit in the front because our babies would be a distraction from the camera and the pastor. We were asked to move without kindness. Instead of being greeted with warmth, we felt like a problem that needed to be managed. Most recently, we were told to leave the worship room and go to the family room because our baby was making normal baby sounds. Our baby was not crying or causing a scene, just making typical infant noises. Our toddler and infant always enjoy the worship music and even dance along to it. During the sermon, they make normal infant and toddler noises, but they are not having meltdowns or completely crashing out. We always try our best to keep them settled and ensure they are not a disruption. Ever since they told us that we can’t sit in the front we decided to sit at the very top of the worship room instead which is far from the altar, yet staff walked all the way up to us and asked us to leave. That moment truly shattered my heart. It is deeply disappointing that a church that promotes the slogan “Welcome Home” does not reflect that message in the way families with young children are treated. The repeated rudeness from staff made it clear that families like ours are not truly embraced. It also felt as though maintaining a polished image for live social media was prioritized over showing grace to real families in the room. A church should not be more concerned about how it looks on camera than how it makes people feel in person. Scripture is clear in Matthew 19:14 when Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them.” Yet each time we visited, we felt hindered. We gave this church multiple chances because we genuinely hoped it would become our church home. Sadly, after repeated experiences of being asked to move, being spoken to rudely, and being removed from the worship space for normal baby behavior, it became clear that this environment is not family-friendly for those with young children. I pray this church does not lose sight of its true purpose: to love people, welcome families, and reflect Christ’s heart above appearances. My HOPE is that leadership reflects on how staff treat young families so that no one else leaves feeling the way we did.

I had no plans of going to church today, but since I have to get my oil changed, I'm making a the most of these day. Everyone is friendly, the music is Very Loud, they have a table with ear plugs 🤣🤣 These guys are full of energy. This was my 1st time at a Hope City Church or listening to their message. It's a multiethnic church. Some people dressed up, other's are in causal wear. The message was easy to understand. I took notes here ha haha Faith Comes By Hearing🦻 Rom 10.17. Take Courage.. Wisdom an Revelation Eph 1.17 Heb 1.11 Faith in What We Do Not See 👀 Trust God Grow in God's Way Romans 10.10 Jon 14 .6 Eph 2.8 Gift of God Move Out of The OLD Life into The New John 17.17 Your Word Is Truth. Death & Life are in the Power of the Tongue Proverbs 18.21 Hmm.. I verse I heard while at home. Psl 119.9 Have a different perspective. James 2.17 Faith Grows Faith Leads You and Grows Ex 15.2 My Song Luke 1 37 There Is A Freedom 2Cor 5.7 BY FAITH This church is in Houston Christian High School. They have to do a lot of work preparing for the Sunday services. Setting up and take down everything. There was a sign letting folks know there are groups to join. Over all its seems to be a church that people like. This campus has 3 services on Sunday. 8.30a, 10.30a, and 12.30p. I went to the 12.30 service. The good thing about this service is that people can sleep in or not rush to get to church. hahaha This message was like the message I heard this morning coming from within me. Except, this church had a lot more verse. I didn't get all the eXtra Fluff ha ha ha
