The Brooklyn Tabernacle

I visited the Brooklyn Tabernacle for the morning service, and it was such a powerful and uplifting experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—no matter your background or beliefs, you immediately feel at home here. The gospel music was deeply moving, filled with soul and genuine passion. It wasn’t just a performance; it felt like something that touched everyone in the room. I also came here with a personal purpose. One of my childhood friends had a lifelong dream of singing gospel at the Brooklyn Tabernacle. She couldn’t be here herself, so I came on her behalf. Standing in this space and hearing the choir felt incredibly meaningful, almost as if I was sharing the moment with her. Whether you're spiritual, curious, or simply looking for a memorable experience in New York, this is a beautiful place where anyone can walk in and leave inspired.

From the moment you step inside the church, you are warmly received by exceptional greeters who radiate the love and spirit of Jesus. ❤️ Their genuine smiles and heartfelt hospitality immediately make you feel seen, valued, and at home. As you enter the sanctuary, that same welcoming atmosphere surrounds you. Every person you encounter contributes to an environment of comfort, unity, and belonging. There is no sense of pressure or pretense only authentic fellowship and heartfelt connection. When the choir begins to sing, the room fills with uplifting praise that stirs the soul. The music doesn’t simply fill the space ..it ministers to the heart. Each song carries a message of hope, faith, and encouragement. Then comes the preaching powerful, inspiring, and deeply rooted in truth. The Word is delivered in a way that allows you to feel God’s presence in a personal and transformative way.🙌🙏 By the time you leave, something within you has shifted. You walk out renewed, encouraged, and changed filled with the unmistakable love of God. It is more than just attending a service; it is experiencing a divine encounter. And the most beautiful part? No tickets are needed. The doors are open to everyone.!!!

This church is a glimpse of what Heaven must be like. Love the time devoted to Prayer as a body of Christ, together in unison. Messages are Bible-centered and does not waver from the Word of God. Grateful for Pastor Cymbala not diluting message of Jesus Christ. And of course the Choir that is made up of everyday churchgoers like you and me. Highly recommend you visit and keep returning 💕

My family and I visited this church, and could not have been more encouraged, edified, and refreshed. The worship was amazing. The presence of the Lord was there, which is what brought the refreshment to the soul. Also, the message was straight from the Bible. I learned a lot. The choir is another level. I could listen to them all day! Loved each, and every song they sang, and even more… Loved the passion with which they sang the songs. I am so thankful that Brooklyn has this amazing church. What a beautiful “light on a hill” this church is, shining for Jesus. Furthermore, they were all extremely welcoming and kind to us. They even have a room specifically for visitors to come get prayer after the service, which my family utilized and was blessed by. I definitely hope to come back!
