Christ The Redeemer Presbyterian Church

This is a church that loves Jesus, loves the Bible and loves their neighbors. If you’re looking for a church around Portland, you really ought to check it out. Warm, engaged, thoughtful. The pastor is careful with his words and clearly cares a great deal for both the congregation and for how they engage with their community.

When my husband and I came to Christ The Redeemer (CTR), we were moving to Maine from Tennessee. We were excited and nervous about moving so far north but one of our biggest concerns in moving to Maine was finding a church. After our first Sunday at CTR, we knew where we wanted to be. This a place where you can come and be honest about who you are and where you are on your journey of faith. We are thankful to be a part of this body of believers. We thank the Lord for each Sunday we can worship together with our friends and family here. We are thankful for opportunities we have to serve within.  We are thankful for opportunities we have to go out as a people to serve and bear witness to the city of Portland because Christ has died, Christ has risen, and Christ will come again. If you're reading this, I hope you'll consider joining us some Sunday soon.

Beautiful place. I had to go for a funeral and the staff and pastor were great.

Really wonderful people, who are serious about the Bible, and at the same time: warm, gracious and thoughtful. Awesome for kids!
