I love this Church. Also the grace chapel is an amazing way to experience traditional worship and still tune into SBC’s main service via video. The main auditorium is great though for more contemporary music. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. You truly feel Gods love here. The messages are thought provoking, inspiring and convicting (amazing). I have had such a great time as well getting to know the Head of the grace chapel church Ray, who leads each service and is a great man who welcomes and try’s to get to know everyone who goes to the grace chapel. I love when the grace chapel hosts the bells and children’s choir and orchestra.

If you just want to go somewhere and hear good interpretation of the Bible, it’s great. If you want to feel part of the community, it’s awful. It’s sad when people who grew up a couple of miles away don’t feel welcome, or appreciated. I can’t imagine being a transplant, and trying to fit in. The congregation matches the staff in being closed to a tight knit circle. It looked awesome for those that fit in. Lonely for those that don’t. Give it a shot if modern North Scottsdale is your scene. It’s not for us old timers.

Excellent teaching and a wide variety of quality focused ministries with compassionate and experienced leadership. It is a mega church with a strong community connection - A focus on grace, restoration and assistance in every area of life for members. Not at all a small house church which requires personal initiative to become involved. Typical of how all large congregate are Mananger today in America. Impacting biblical teaching and a connected community involvement in programs and projects . Excellent small group Bible Studies , high school /Jr z high programs and outstanding men’s discipleship on Tuesday nights . If your looking for a small church then attend one of the campuses other than Shea ( the main campus)

I am deeply disappointed with this church. One of my neighbors reached out to them asking for help with a single month of rent while she got back on her feet. Instead of offering support, they told her, “We don’t do anything like that,” and recommended that she go to shelters with her children. All she needed was temporary assistance, yet they turned her away. The Bible teaches us that widows, unsupported women, and children were once taken care of at the house of God until they could find stability. Giving tithes to God’s house was meant to provide for those in need. Today, many of us already contribute through taxes that go toward food stamps and medical assistance, yet we are asked to give another 10% to churches—often funding the luxurious lifestyles of pastors—while they ignore the desperate needs right in front of them. Do you truly believe Jesus would approve of pastors living in excess while refusing help to a struggling single mother? True faith doesn’t require showing off prayers in a church or paying others to read the Bible for you—it’s about compassion and helping those in need. Thanks to the generosity of kind-hearted people, most of whom were not even believers, my neighbor was able to pay her rent, find a job, and secure a stable home. It’s sad that the church refused to help when she needed it most. I urge anyone attending this church to reflect on the true meaning of faith, compassion, and service
