Believers City Church

If you want to learn what it means to truly live a life for Christ and others, I strongly suggest attending this church. I started going to this church during college and stayed for over a decade because of their dedication to teaching straight from the Bible and focusing on discipleship and doing life together as a Body of Christ. If you get involved, you’ll be encouraged, challenged (in the best way), and really learn how to seek the Kingdom first. It’s biblical, it’s missional, and it’s radical.

I stumbled upon this church as a college student at UW-Stout, and more than a decade later, I’m still here — joyfully. I have seen God do the miraculous in and through the people who are a part of Believers City Church. Through biblical teaching that doesn’t skip the hard stuff, discipleship classes, local and international mission trips, and doing life together with other Christ-followers, I’ve learned what it means to follow Jesus in my daily living and to “seek first the Kingdom of God…”

I LOVE this church! So friendly and welcoming. I really enjoy that they read the Bible verse by verse and discuss it as they go. It's really challenged me in my faith and to really think for myself my relationship with God and how I should be living. Don't be intimidated by the pastor's beard! Super nice and serious about God and His word and he really cares about the people. Also, their coffee house has really good coffee :)

I highly recommend this church. I started attending 18 years ago and found a home here where I have come to know what it means to have an abiding relationship with Jesus and am continually learning what it means to live out my faith every day in a practical way. I believe one of the main reasons this body is here and continues to grow and flourish is due to the unwavering commitment of teaching and adhering to God's Word as our source of truth. These are the most loving and loyal people I know and I'm blessed to be able to call them my friends. They have stuck with me through good times and bad and have personally invested in me. I am blessed to be able to serve with and in this church. If you're looking for a church to just come to and sit in a pew every week and then check out, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a church where you can learn more about Jesus and falling in love with Him and fulfilling His plan for your life, then you should definitely check this church out.

This is a good church to find community and biblical teachings that point you toward a relationship with Jesus. Pastor Tim's sermons are hard-hitting, but rooted in truth. I appreciate that they have a ministry especially to serve young adults and nearby college students. Everyone that I have met and spoken to at JF Believers is genuine, and only wants to point me towards God in love. They offer many service opportunities as well.
