Word Alive Church International

I visit my son often during the year. I wanted to find a church for services while visiting. The Holy Spirit led me to this church. Word Alive is a go to church. I attended and the Holy Spirit is definitely in this ministry. The service I attended the children were in training to lead worship in which they did. I was quite impressed. The Holy Spirit was definitely present. The message was on mentoring. I will be attending this church whenever I am in the VA area.

The Word that is preached is biblical and easy to understand. The love of God is demonstrated throughout the body ❤️🙏.

First all I want to say they are polite and are mindful to the homeless and their belongings. A lot of homeless tend to sleep there. They could be real jerks and call police but I don’t see that. I understand it’s a black church and they tend to want to stick to that fact. But I’m white and I stay so close to it I wish I could attend church service and not feel like I don’t belong. It’s so convenient because it’s right here. Anyways I try to clean up the parking lot and other trash I see from others who are on drugs and don’t care. I believe in treating others the way you want to be treated. I am skinny and everyone thinks I’m on drugs but I’m not. There’s a huge disconnect between us and society. The haves and have nots. So from someone who hasn’t actually attended I still give then 5 stars just because of the decency to not just throw away someone’s stuff.

Bishop Cherry and his Wife, Lady Jan, are truly annointed people of God. I have definitely grown Spirituality and Mentally while attending this Ministry. The people there are so loving and kind. They except you as you are.
