Second Baptist Church

I stopped by the Community Event and felt welcomed. Everyone was so nice. I had my elderly Mom with me and she was excited to pick-up some toys and games for the great grandkids. Thank you for a putting on Community Events.

The beautiful family I married into has been members of Second Baptist church since the beginning. This is the church where I accepted Christ as an teen and soon will be baptized. Pastor Charles Petty and his beautiful wife Donna Petty have been a blessing to me and my family for so many years. Pastor delivers excellent sermons, we have one of the best choirs in the area, and every member of this church truly cares about you! Thank you Second Baptist for all your love and constant prayers.

They use the NIV Bible. And they do not have any fellowship after Sunday services. They don’t preach about the Bible too much only preached about them being saved which is good but I go to church to understand and learn what the Bible says not what other peoples experiences and opinions are about them being saved. The community is nice though. Some welcoming some not so much.
