Devout and active Catholic Church in Clear Lake TX. I felt very welcome and valued as a guest.

Passable Novus Ordo Mass but not ideal. Far better than neighboring parish, St. Bernadette, who is rolling over in her grave. 95% of the congregation receives in the hands. Sacred vessels are not purified at the altar but treated like dirty dishes to be dealt with after Mass. Pastor doesn't distribute communion but leaves it to the deacon and laity. I question their supernatural faith in the True Presence.

Came here for a funeral. Everyone was very thoughtful, and the building itself is very nice inside and beautiful

Is one of the Catholic churches farthest from traditional I've been to for Mass or Stations of the Cross. There is nothing to follow along with only a prayer book and no hymn book either. Having your phone is expected and encouraged for following the readings. It feels like a nondenominational church inside. I wouldn't go here again.
