Heights Church

Heights Church – welcoming, friendly, thought provoking, caring, inspirational, kind, deep knowledge of the history of the bible. Those are just a few adjectives I would use to describe Heights Church. Walking into the service is like a big hug. The people are friendly, caring and kind. The music is touching and beautiful. The ministers have such a deep knowledge of the bible and have incredible ways to take the bible verses and relate them to today’s world. I always walk away with a new way to think of something, a little new nugget of history from the bible and being inspired by the message. We are so incredibly blessed to have the Sloan’s at Heights Church.

I’m learning so much at Bible study and the worship hour is truly moving. I’ve been attending for many years and I love how many new people are now discovering this gem of a church in the Heights. It is a very welcoming place.

Baptist Temple was a mission-minded faith community where my family worshipped for 45+ years. My family home was four blocks West of the church. Me and my two older brothers were active in all ministries during our formative years. Baptist Templed affirmed, licensed a d Ordained me to the Gospel ministry on April 8, 1988. Their congregation remain in my prayers. Thanks Be to God for Baptist Temple.

An intimate setting for a meaningful worship experience! Thoughtful, traditional services with beautiful music, and meaningful messages from the bible each week! A wonderful place to worship for all ages with genuine, friendly folks! A perfect match for the historic Heights!

A warm and welcoming church. You will feel the warm welcoming God like Christian Love from al of the people there. The music is very inspiring. A great place to be on a Sunday morning.
