Grace Church Garden Oaks is truly a blessing for our whole family! Pastor Tristan delivers powerful, heartfelt messages every week that are both inspiring and practical for everyday life. The worship is uplifting, the community is warm and welcoming, and there’s a genuine sense of love and belonging the moment you walk in. Our kids absolutely love the children’s programs, and my husband and I always leave encouraged and refreshed. It’s rare to find a church that speaks to every age group, but Grace Church does exactly that. If you’re looking for a place to grow in faith and feel at home, this is it!

I want to share a recent experience that was very disappointing. A friend of mine attended one of the life groups last week, to this location and bravely opened up about his journey & being a gay man, working on his relationship with God, and dealing with other personal struggles. Vulnerability like that takes courage and should be met with compassion. However, today’s Sunday’s service was focused on how being homosexual is a sin. The timing of that message, immediately after someone had just shared something so personal, felt like more than a coincidence. Instead of feeling supported, my friend left feeling targeted, uncomfortable, and unwelcome (which is likely the opposite of what church should stand for.) It’s heartbreaking to see someone who’s seeking faith and community walk away feeling rejected. If this is the way the church chooses to respond to openness and honesty, it doesn’t reflect the love, grace, and inclusivity that so many people come to church hoping to find. As Jesus said in John 8:7, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.”

Third time visiting and love it. The presence of God is here. The people are very welcoming. The message of God super positive and affirming. If you live by come visit. Welcome home! Great Church and very welcoming to visitors. We visited and within 2 visits i asked to become a member because of how welcoming they we're. Loved the youth ministry too as i have 3 teenagers and they dreaded to go to church as to how now they can't wait to attend on Wednesday & Sundays. They have child care too and my 3yr. Old loves Kids Class as she screams in excitement. You can surely feel God's presence and his embrace.
