Cypress Church

My daughter and I, attend Thursday evening services at 6:30. Tonight my daughter started in a new classroom since she turned 3, she went to the 3 year olds classroom. She instantly started to cry and I witnessed one of the teachers being so kind and so comforting to her, letting her know it’s okay, I even seen her wiping her tears. I did not get her name but she was so helpful and sweet to myself and my girl and we need more people like her in the world. She will be starting school there next year and it made me a little more at ease knowing there are such good people there. Thank you Cypress!

The most inclusive church i have been to. They help the Christian navigate their life. Not just evangelical, preaching only to the unsaved. There should be a balance between the saved and the unsaved.

I have been going to cypress since my daughter was 2 and she is now 14. I have loved the church because of it's kids ministry specially now that I also have a 4 year old. Overall the church is great. My only problem is as some others have said. As a minority person it does not feel welcoming some times. As some greeters don't seem happy to see me or don't even greet me. I've also had some encounters where I have smiled or said hi to the pastors and they just look away. Since I've been at cypress so long I wish it felt more like home but it doesn't. It would be nice to feel more welcome as a minority.

I took this photo the last time I was at the Church. This was after a very bad storm and after I was able to see the beauty of Gods Love. For many years my wife and I had trouble finding a good church. Cypress welcomed us and we always feel like family. We were afraid of online worship, but it actually is the best thing ever. We love knowing no matter where we are we can still worship with Cypress and enjoy their services. Thank you Cypress
