This church has great community outreach programs. It also has made an admirable effort to advocate for the people who live in the neighborhood where it is located, unlike other churches that have abandoned the area and its people. It is generally a friendly church if you’re a person who is seeking a place to attend services. A large majority of the members are upper middle class/upper class whites, and I would say the membership is not racially or economically diverse (unless one is setting a very low standard for those traits), though there is some diversity among the church’s employees. It strives to be a “welcoming and inclusive” church, but among the membership, in most respects, there are definitely insiders and outsiders.
