I been trying to receive help from here for over 3 weeks. I do what I am told I log on every Monday at 11:00 am on the dot and begin the application process and exactly at 11:03 it kicks you out everytime with out you ever finish the application. The application literally has 60 or more questions that u must input. There is no way that people are finishing this In 3 minutes. So I said let me do some research there is no past applicants in the past year even say thank you on the reviews which is weird . If someone helps you at you lowest point you would at least reach out and say thanks and recommend this place. I also call on Tuesdays and wait on the phone for hours just for it to ring with no answer. The false hope of receiving help from here. I didn’t want to think they would do this but I’m pretty sure they are turning off the systems not to help people in need. And those donations from the faithful congregation are going elsewhere

Ms.Kathryn Jones was very rude and unprofessional. While asking for helping I gave her all my information that she asked for only to be told that she couldn't help me and that the $400 would be a waste of her money before in order for me to receive the $400 first I would need to pay my portion first. I need help 🥺😭. I just had a baby in June 16th 2024 and I am a single mother. Why would I use or even take advantage of anyone. God doesn't like ugly and I wouldn't do anything like that. This is a church and for her to say something like this is so disappointing. I will never call this church ever again for help and she is the director. Very rude and unprofessional the whole time she didn't listen to me instead was talking over me.

I went here in time of need. The place I am currently at has bedbugs and is closing down. I presented all documents plus more info. I went above and beyond to emphasis my request for help was sincere. The director of the program did not help me at all. In my honest opinion I strongly feel they do not help black men that are working. they try to find any and all excuses to not assist you by finding nit-picky items making a bad situation worse. Having said this.. I understand tv news when someone gets robbed. I've been to several that say they help when in fact they really do not. FACT: When a victim asks anyone/agency for help, that has the power to help and they do Nothing, that act supports / condones the wrong being done. They turned me away. Not even an attempt to help with Hotel/Motel options. I WILL NEVER FORGET MY EXPERIENCE ! ! !
