I came to Hope Curch because there was a sermon called "Breaking the Bad." 5 years fresh out of prison and going to church. When I got there, the lady who ministered to me in jail for 6 months went to this church. I had no clue. I encountered Jesus that day, crying my eyes out. The woman there embraced me,loved me,mentored me,believed in me, and walked with me, even when I went back to prison. Hope has blessed me and my family so much. I got babtised, then my husband did. We got married at hope and have had so many wins in our lives cause of the discipleship and friends we have made. My husband lost 2 of his children, leaving so much grief and pain in our family and now he too has passed away.Hope Church has covered our family with prayers and blessings and so much more that I will never leave this church. If you're broken, hopeless, lost, hurting, Hope can be found here, and there has never been judgment, only love love and love! I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Jesus and my church family cause they are truly family and so much fun. I really could write a long story on how this church has helped me grow in my walk as a Christian. Even when I walk away and fall short, they accept me back with open arms and grace. There's a place for everyone here and be ready to feel the Holy Spirit cause Holyspirit is in this church! Love u Hope Church, and thank you for all that you did and have done for me and Jason and our family.

The people are extremely friendly at this church. They have a wonderful Children's Program and the pastor's genuine and down to earth. You can come as you are and you don't have to dress up to fit right in. They have a wonderful Coffee and Tea Bar in an area to congregate in the front so you can come early and visit with people.

I've decided to just get straight to my point. Churches, nowadays, are not what Christ has called them to be. They are an epic failure. Some try but the majority do not serve those struggling or suffering. During the week after Christmas, not only did they close the church, even on a Sunday without putting it on their website, but there was zero pastoral staff available. Who does that? People struggle with family issues, death, depression and suicide during the holidays yet no pastor or church services as there had been many Christmas festivities during the prior week, per Lisa, Pastor Lance's assistant. On that Sunday, I showed up to an empty church. I stayed for around a half hour. Around ten cars showed up. A woman, LeVon, whom I had never met, showed up. She asked what happened? I said "I don't know. It doesn't seem as if there is church. She said this was her FIRST time to a church and she had driven over a half hour. She was sad. I asked her to meet me the following Sunday...she shook her head and said "No way." I'm very sad that this woman will never forget that churches were closed at one of the most important and difficult times of the year. I have no idea if she will ever walk into a church again. I understand Canvas church was closed too. They are failures in the eyes of God and the World. My roommates were appalled along with my friends; strong believers along with unbelievers. It's not just Hope or Canvas; it is the majority of churches that fall short of what Christ expects of them. My best to those of you that have been failed by churches. God is still real and with you. LeVon? If you are reading this? I'm very sorry🙏
