Valley Church

My family and I have been coming here for a few years now! Pastor Quintin and the entire church staff’s love for the community shows each and every Sunday. FANTASTIC message today on the parable of the Good Samaritan!

This place is amazing. So many different options to choose from depending on how you want to worship. We choose the Cafe at the Valley Community Center because it's a smaller venue and is more like a coffee shop experience including free coffee drinks available.

The staff here is genuine and welcoming, no matter who you are. Pastor Quintin is a delightfully humble man; once you get to know him, you realize how intelligent he is, both in terms of Biblical wisdom as well as emotional understanding of different people. If you're scared to visit a church, just call Pastor Quintin--he'll meet you for coffee or to talk about life. The sermons are often topical, rather than expository. A friend of mine had a family member killed in a very tragic accident, and Valley provided funds to help her family with funeral expenses--and the family doesn't attend Valley. The church truly has a heart for our community and its people. I've enjoyed the Love You Des Moines Days events, and the Night to Shine prom events for people with special needs are excellent. The small groups of people who meet throughout the week are good, too.

Has the best children ministry. Since i brought my boy , he has never wanted to miss the church. He enjoys and has learned a lot of bible stories and verses. The two pastors are great Bible teachers too. I have learned a lot from them and grown spiritually.It's has great hospitality too,I feel at home. My wife and daughters love and enjoy volunteering in children's ministry every Sunday.Has generous and caring members. I got my first car donated by a generous members, 7 years ago when first moved to USA. I have been a member since 2013. A great place to be.

This is one of the best churches in town. They follow the principles found in the bible and care about people. The leadership cares about following Christ and serving others. This is what a church should look like. They have many different ministries available. They care about the community. Their special needs ministry is amazing. They are always doing things for others. This is a great church to hear the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
