Capital is such an incredible church. I’ve never witnessed such unity and humility in a church. The teaching is very biblically sound. The kids program is amazing as well as the youth and young adult ministries. There is really an emphasis on building community and finding a place where everyone can connect and find discipleship. Last but not least, this is a praying church. I really got connected through corporate prayer and you can tell a lot about the heart of a church by their commitment to prayer for the body and for the lost and there is unending devotion in this area. I just can’t say enough about how much I love this place and am so grateful God led my family here to call it home.

I love capital so much I came to visit last summer I was not saved and my aunt brought me. I ended up moving here because of the church, Pastor Krist was so real and honest but spoke with love. Which is exactly what I love, I love hard truth but led in love, and the worship is so filled with the spirit. You can just tell that these people are genuine and just love Jesus, they are all so kind and so welcoming. I’ve never felt at home like I have here.

After I made my last comment. Instead of the church ignoring my post and not caring to respond they did the opposite. The church was quick to respond and I had a meeting with pastor Rob. Pastor Rob is a kind faithful person who was glad to answer my questions about Capitol. I can see that pastor Rob cares about my opions and he wants to help the church grow and correct its mistakes. We are all sinners in life we are not perfect. That's why we have the good Lord and Savior in our life's. People need forgiveness. Church is like a hospital for sinners looking for salvation. I can struggle socializing with people especially if it's a large group of people. Pastor Rob understood what I was saying so he helped made me feel welcome by signing me up for a small Bible group that isn't so chaotic. Pastor Rob thank you for taking time out of your day to listing to what I had to say. And by making me feel welcome at the young adult group last night. Like I said we're not perfect in life that's why we have Jesus in our life's. If Jesus can forgive us sinners for all the evil things we did. Why can't we forgive people and give people second chances? I've been praying and I am willing to give Capitol and young adult nights another chance. I will continue to pray for this church that it can succeed and grow. "You don't learn from what you do in life, you learn from your mistakes."

HEALTHY, SAFE LEADERSHIP! EQUIPPING! Capital Church has been a healing balm to our souls! We were severely abused in a former church and having leadership that you can trust is pure gold! This body is over 40 years old with generations of families and that alone speaks volumes about the leadership and the foundation that’s been built. A People-centric culture is what you will find here! It’s not the “US 4 and NO MORE” mindset but very intentional about welcoming new guests and also fosters a healthy culture of honoring their volunteers. Opened AND responsive to constructive criticism with actionable suggestions but followed with the willingness to help implement those suggestions as long as they align with the vision. What’s the preaching like? Like being in a free theological course! It’s awesome…but not the typical “preacher-type” preaching. It’s more practical teaching to help us live victoriously in the reality of this broken world. The messages touch every demographic. You have to pay attention though or you will be lost due to the rich, deep teaching. What’s worship like? It’s very anointed, and amazing! No “smoke machines”. 😜 For me personally, volunteering is my favorite part of Sunday! Capital Church is well-organized with an incredible platform to raise up not just “awesome leaders ”, but help them to be in their “sweet spot”! When you have the right people in the right place, you do the right things with excellence! And for the record, “excellence” does not equal “perfection”. No church on earth is perfect, and that includes, Capital Church…let me tell you why….🤫 The other thing I love about this body of believers is you don’t hear a bunch of gossiping! But what you will hear about is the 24/7 prayer warriors praying every day and night!! We’re not just IN the church building. We are the CHURCH and every where we go, we are carriers of the anointing of Christ! Like building up pastors in Pakistan or schools! Are you an evangelist or missionary? You have a place here! It’s amazing to see the footprints of love that God has lead this leadership team to leave across the world. Young, older, really old 😜, if you’re breathing, there’s a place for you to be used for the Kingdom! Lastly, my first encounter was with the men of the church. I was cared for the first day I was visiting the men’s group. I felt a part of those men the first night. As a matter of fact, the healing began there. After the meeting, I sat in my vehicle in the parking lot and wept! I was so used to being gas-lit by other leaders in my past. But this night, I was accepted, acknowledged and loved. I love this church and the people I serve and serve with.
