Lena Vista Baptist Church

Great Pastor and all the volunteers are nice. They give a nice amount of food too.

I really don't want to give a bad review about a food pantry but it should at least be stated online that people have to physically stand outside in order to register I'm assuming. It says pantry drive-thru but everyone was standing in line wrapped around the building. Maybe to register but at least state it to give people an option on whether they want to use their gas driving to the pantry to stand outside especially in the cold weather. I wasted my gas driving from Lakeland to auburndale just to leave because I can't stand that long, especially with a kid & not in the cold. I could have really used the food but maybe you should make it easier & just register cats as they pull up or have people go car to car & register like most of the pantries which is more Convienet!

A truly lovely church, friendly people. We attended a funeral, found the sanctuary very comforting; the fellowship after, relaxed and very hospitable.

Lena Vista Baptist church discontinued my 81 year old mamaw’s lease for no reason and only gave her a months notice after a decade of this being her home. She has never once missed rent and keeps her apartment immaculate. All she has been told is the women who work at the church don’t like her. Linda and Sue are making my family ashamed to be members of this church. Luckily we have the funds to move her but beware to anyone thinking of renting from this church.
