Beymer Memorial United Methodist Church

We were looking for a church and Beymer is amazing. The people are sweet and helpful. They are so welcoming. They have 3 services but we go to the 2nd service. We love the band. Josh is amazing guitar player and singer. Pastor Rob is great! Laura the one who helps with the children is great. My kids love her and they love Debbie in the nursery.

I had been living in Winter Haven for seven months, searching for a church, preferably United Methodist, where I felt welcomed and at home. And I was getting very despondent, fearing I might end up watching a service online each week. I stumbled upon Beymer UMC one afternoon while riding around Lake Howard and decided to check it out on Sunday. It was great! The traditional service was exactly what I had been searching for: a talented choir; beautiful pipe organ and amazing organist; dear old hymns I grew up with; friendly, welcoming people; a kind and personable pastor; and a handbell choir to boot! I have attended Beymer ever since, sing in the choir, and participate in a Wednesday Bible study and a women's Circle. I have found my home! If the traditional service is not your cup of tea, Beymer's contemporary service is quite good too. The praise team is very talented and keeps things upbeat with beautiful new Christian songs. If you're searching for a church, I can't imagine you will be disappointed with Beymer. Lots of opportunities for getting involved and serving the community. Check them out this Sunday!

The people at the food pantry are wonderful! I am greeted each month with friendly smiles, warm welcomes, and with upmost respect. They help everyone who are in need, no matter what walk of life you are from without any judgement or cricticism. Thank you for being there when my family needs you!

The Holy Spirit is in this place. It is a community where members love one another, help one another, seek to grow in their faith and reach out to those beyond the church walls to share His love.

I've been attending this church for about 10 years now. It is full of truly wonderful people that are always ready to drop everything to help someone in need.
