First Baptist Church of Denver

Nothing biblical going on here, but if you want a God of your own imagination, want to be justified in doing what is right in your own eyes, and want your ears tickles then this place is for you. Sola scriptural rightly divided is the only way.

We weren't able to stay for service due to our flight, but met some absolutely amazing membera who gave us a tour of their beautiful sanctuary. Would absolutely recommend coming for a service, hearing the organ and worship music, or popping into their library or small group sessions!!

My organization has been a tenant and partner with the church for over 8 years and has the greatest respect for the church and its pastor, Brian Henderson. The church was one of the first hosts of the Safe Outdoor Spaces in Denver for homeless women and this is such a great indication of how dedicated it is to filling its mission. The church has become a wonderful home for several excellent nonprofits and we so appreciate this space and culture of caring for community.

I have been attending First Baptist for 9 months with my partner… I find it to be a welcoming safe place where all are welcome. What impressed me the most has been First Baptist’s commitment to the Denver Community offering opportunities for local groups and organizations to have a place to do their good work. The pastor Brian Henderson and associate pastor Scott Pegues minister from their hearts. I feel at home at First Baptist of Denver.

After 20 years away from church life, my family has found a spiritual home at First Baptist Church of Denver. The congregation is a wonderful, diverse, love-practicing group of folk I’m blessed to have grown to know.
