I have been a long time yet infrequent member of Joy. I was born and raised in Eagle River and Joy was the church I attended as a teen. Since then I have moved around a lot (Montana, Colorado, Vietnam) and visited many different churches. Currently, I am home again for the summer and have been attending service at Joy. I am continuously amazed by the small yet dedicated members of the church and the heartfelt and sincere sermons given by Pastor Martin. His words inspire me to reflect on myself and people around me, and how I go forward in my day to day. At Joy I feel a deeper level connection to my faith and to the practicing community. If nothing else there is usually a delicious breakfast ;). I highly recommend!
