Christ United Methodist Church

This church and community has such a broad world view it makes anyone feel welcome. They are also home to a few of the best handbell choirs in the state, probably the country. This church has helped so many refugees and families and helped ground me as a teenager which I am so thankful for. The community and congregation are what make this place wonderful. And of course the Wesley Bell Ringers and Appraiseation!

Your graciousness and caring mean so much to the families you've taken in and provided for with your kindness. The time and dedication may only require a night's or meal's stay, but the message you relay is forever embossed in the minds of my two children and me. It's clear you SHOW your beliefs rather than ranting about what you know. We've truly been blessed and will remember your generosity forever. Thank you.

Mothers Day Sermon The Reverend Rusty has no empathy, I sent him a letter sharing that his sermon that included abortion was offensive to me and my family Why? Mother's give birth or adopt not abort. So this topic should have been left out so that mothers could be properly honored. FYI, we actually share a similar view on abortion as the Reverend. I shared with the reverend that my mother, uncle, sister and daughter that was playing in his Bell Choir that day were adopted. Hearing him talk on this subject on this day was very painful to us as we know how many beautiful talented people are lost to abortions when we know first hand what adoption does, for me I am here because of it. Quite frankly his response was unreal. "Thanks for your Letter" Signed the reverend. That's it. I thought there would be some understanding or empathy. Nope. When I responded back with my astonishment at his comment and to let him know we would no longer attend his church or bells, he then condemned me for pulling my daughter from the choir and church. Why does my child who was adopted and had a real chance of being aborted by her Birthmother have to sit there and hear this? Her Birthmother was Christ like and carried her and placed her into our loving hands. THAT MY FRIENDS IS OF GOD. Rev Rusty, he's a good guy too, just misled by the politics of the day.

Very open minded and welcoming of ALL people regardless of shape, color, attractions, hobbies, styles, addictions, mood .... really supportive to me and my family. Not pushy. Church members do a ton of service work in the community

My granddaughter is LDS and yet, he led her to this beautiful Church of Truth. It is a beautiful place God let her too since she couldn't get it done at any of her LDS Ward's. Praise God!
