Matthew 21:12-13 Mark 11:15-19 John 2:12-25 Absolutely no reason a church should be engaging in commerce on the grounds in which they worship God together. Even Jesus, God Himself, drove away those who practiced commerce in the temple. Comment from Fellowship Church on 2025Apr15 "Response from the owner 7 hours ago Thank you for sharing your views. We’d like to explain why we offer items for sale in our cafe. Unlike the merchants Jesus drove out, we don’t prioritize profit over worship or prevent people from going to worship services or praying. We are organized as a 501(c)3 organization, and we sell items at cost or below in our café (not the worship center) to build community, encourage scripture study, or provide books on important care topics – all meant to support spiritual health and growth, not profit. All contributions (whether to our budget or in sales) are stewarded faithfully to honor Christ and fulfill the great commission of making disciples (Matt. 28:18-20, Col. 1:28-29). Selling items with integrity supports the church’s mission by equipping believers. Thank you for visiting Fellowship recently! We would like the opportunity to meet you and answer any more questions you might have; please let us know how best to contact you." The Holy Spirit dwells in our bodies, that is God's true temple. The physical location you congregate for worship is where church happens. Fellowship Church is publicly called a 'Church'. The ground in which you practice has been forbidden by God to do, the practice of trade, commerce, or market (selling T-Shirts). John 2:16 ESV: "...do not make my Father's house a house of trade." CSB: "Stop turning my Father's house into a marketplace!" NLT: "Stop turning my Father's house into a marketplace!" Just because you regulate the sin or make a smaller presence of sin on church grounds, doesn't mean it's now okay to practice trade on church grounds. REPENT of your sin and follow Christ.

To me it's hard to rate a church from 1:00 to 5:00. The fact remains God shows up at this church every Sunday morning. If you're a visitor and someone didn't greet you things happen sometimes. I was impressed that I was overly greeted in a week later three of the pastors remembered my name. Although I would consider this a contemporary praise and worship they still sing some of the older songs too. As a 63-year-old I also realized I'm getting older and churches will die if we do not take care of the next generation to their likes and needs. The music's not too loud but still allows us that like to raise our hands the freedom to do so. God is always had an open mind with me so I have an open mind regarding church praise and worship. If I don't like the song this week there's probably somebody in the crowd that does, so next week maybe I'll get my song I don't worry about it. Pastor Grant hits home runs every week with the sermons along with the others who speak to us from the platform. A specifically like the men's ministry and how we fellowship together. If you're going a visit to church I always say give it three or four weeks that one chance. But this church was worth the drive.

We have watched online and now taken the opportunity to visit twice. The music is great and the sermons have been spot on. Our main issue is that not other than the two ladies at the front greeting desk that we approached for more information, no other person in the congregation has said hello to us. We were early to the last service and went and spent over 45 minutes in the cafe with new materials in hand and watched three pastors walk past us. To be fair, one was tied up with and not older couple sitting near us, but when he finished with them he passed them to the women's pastor and walked straight past us without saying a word. We were expecting some acknowledgement after he had made eye contact with me during his conversation with them. So forget and forgive that whole incident. That's one man's fault. We really want to feel a sense of family and belonging in a church. You can clearly see that is present in this congregation. There is and not underlying vibrancy. You can feel it and you want to be a part of it. This church fails miserably at making people feel welcome hen they walk through the doors. We will continue to come because like every other aspect of the church. But these people need to learn to look up from the group they are standing in reach of out a hand and say hello.we are coming back the next people may not.

We have been attending Fellowship for a few weeks and believe we have found our new church home. Everyone has been warm and welcoming. The music is great and Pastor Grant's word is truly bible based. I have to admit that the sermons are some of the best I have heard in years. We are blessed to have found this church.
