My wife and I have been going here for 5 weeks and have been shown hospitality and kindness. I thank God for the church as we are learning how to forgive and love each other from diverse backgrounds, personalities and cultures. The body of Christ is a beautiful work God is doing throughout the world. I pray dearly that God continues to grow the people in cross pointe and throughout the word in grace and unity in the great wisdom and love of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ who is to be praised forever and ever. As Paul the apostle prays. “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11

Our family loves CrossPointe. It's gospel centric with focus on setting people's eyes on Christ. This has real people dealing with real life. It's not afraid to be involved in messy situations. No church is perfect on this side of Heaven, but I think this is how the gospel was meant to be carried out in real life.

When I reported the blatant discrimination against my children for having a genetic health condition as well as other children with disabilities at this PCA Church, the elders (Marcio, Steve, Gilbert, David), some congregants (many whom wrote positive reviews for this church in order to defend their own comforts and positions of power), as well as regional leaders turned on me and adamantly defended the church without listening. Elders showed up at my house to rebuke me and lie about what happened. They were very spiritually abusive, told me I violated Matthew 18 (a very typical cult group response), and that I "oppose scripture” by using email rather than meeting again one-on-one with the same leader I knew to be untrustworthy. The head of the head of the PCA told me, "we're allowed to discriminate against anyone we want to because there is no law against it. The church is exempt!" This is not the love of Christ, these are false teachings . . .

I attended Crosspointe for almost 10 years, under both the former pastor and through the transition to the current. I was never an elder and never on staff. I can tell you that the leadership is solid and sound, and they love to serve people. If you're looking for great teaching that is true to the bible along with great community, you should attend and check it out. God bless you on your journey.

A welcoming church that is true to Christ and kind to people. Scripture is focused on and studied. They are radically hospitable and make great effort to connect with everyone. It's beautiful to see how everyone knows and cares for each other.
