Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church

I am so thankful for this wonderful church. For the past few months we have been attending every Sunday. My daughter has gotten involved in the youth group and made new friends with other wonderful children. The word of God is now spoken in our house. We as a family are happier. We look forward to going to church every Sunday. The worship team is top notch. It feels like attending a concert every single week. The singers are incredibly talented and move me to tears regularly. Pastor John Mark is not only wise but he’s funny and preaches the BIBLE. We are so grateful to have found our home church and are looking forward to getting more and more involved. Thank you cottonwood creek and more importantly God for truly changing the trajectory of our family.

Saw Big Daddy Weave here and it was a great show. Sound was nice in the large, well appointed auditorium. Keep your walking shoes with you... Seemed like a fairly large campus and quite a nice place.

Cottonwood Creek Church is our church home and we felt welcomed from our very first visit. So thankful to God for the blessing of leading us to Cottonwood Creek Church. The Holy Spirit is on fire and what a joy it is to serve and be a part of all that God is doing. Pastor John Mark leads with such grace, compassion and humility. I love his heart for God, His Word, His people and for reaching the hearts of those who are hurting. Each week I gain so much from hearing him teach God’s Word. We are blessed to have Greg & Janna Long lead our worship. They lead with such authenticity, joy and great love for our Great God. Each week through worship they lead us into the presence of the Lord and prepare our hearts to hear God’s Word. I love the community we have found at Cottonwood Creek Church. I have made so many wonderful and treasured friendships. So very thankful to God for the blessing of my church! If you are looking for a church home, we would love to welcome you!

If you are here because you found Pastor Josh online, so am I! His teachings leave me searching for more. Gods not looking for perfection. He looks at our hearts. The heart that motivates us to do things? If every message tickles your ears or If it’s all about prosperity, and not spiritual growth. It’s time to find a new church. Prosperity comes to those who grow spiritually. The wicked’s wealth is laid up for the righteous. Remember, in the End Days many false teachers will rise up. You will know them by the fruits of the spirit. When we find pastors like Josh we MUST support them. It’s our calling. I like what he is doing. I want to visit Dallas, just to come to the church. I could spend a month on his Youtube channel!

I just celebrated 25 years as a born-again believer and have been a member of 2 great churches in Wilmington, NC and Woodstock, GA, giving me some perspective. I joined Cottonwood Creek Church about 3 years and couldn't be happier. It's not perfect as no group of imperfect people is, but there is a heart for God and a love for others that starts with the lead pastor and flows through the congregation. If you are looking for bible-believing church to serve God and "do life together" with other genuine people, please give Cottonwood Creek Church a chance. As is important with all larger churches, seek out a life group to ensure the personal connection that we all need as believers. Blessings!
