Firstly, I was "asked" not to write about this, but reputation means a lot to me and I do not feel it should be washed away. Today I had an issue. The back story, for almost the past 2 years, I have parked in their parking lot, a huge lot that has never reached capacity, while I waited for my daughter at the church across the street. I am there anywhere between a few minutes to most of the day, but only on wednesdays when I drive my daughter around all day so we have some talk time due to her busy church and college schedule. So anyways, for almost 2 years, I parked in this parking lot, NEVER gave One Single issue to anyone there, cleaned up trash in the parking lot on several occasions and never bothered anyone (minus 1 person whom we recently had mutual humor banter about a parking spot, all in fun) 99.9% of the time, I even go do things away, car wash, mall, downtown shopping, ect. TODAY however, I was tired and was sitting there, my OCD wanted me to try and re-arrange items in my trunk, sometimes the way its organized bothers my ocd. Again, never bothered anyone, never caused a scene or ruckus. Fast forward to the issue, the police were called on me (I have ZERO issue with the police, they are always very professional, courteous and good people doing their job) and the church had me trespassed which i gladly drove the 215 feet across the street and waited there. Now I will be clear, it is a private church parking and they CAN legally do that, with that said, how welcoming or neighborly is a church that trespasses a person that is not loitering, causing issues, begging or panhandling (i think its called) or anything of that nature. I park there, wait for my daughter (whom is IN CHURCH) and leave. I gave 2 stars instead of the minimum because of this situation alone, other parts of this church may be more positive, I can not speak to such as I would not know. I was very disappointed in the way this was handled by a church. IF I was doing some mischief of ANY type, I would have expected this type of treatment, even from a church, and supported it, but this is just, to me, very distasteful.

I love that they still do the bagged breakfast for the homeless on Sat & Sun. I just wish they could do that a few days during the week too.

The Church hosted a funeral service for the family. Very courteous, considerate, and compassionate for the family's loss of a much loved member. My deepest thanks.
