First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City

I've used the food pantry here as well as volunteered. I did not feel very welcomed.

We used to go here for groceries and clothes. Every Monday starting at 430 you get in line, receive a number, then wait your turn to go in to receive about 3 or 4 days worth of meat, canned goods, bread, boxed, dairy products; they have some vegetables to choose from. You need an ID; It's a quick process, then however many people you have listed that's how much groceries you get. Mines 4 total so we got a good amount of food. YOU NEED TO GET THERE WAAAAY BEFORE 430! The line is super long so I suggest close to 3 pm to make the line. Serves 75 people(head of household & family counts as 1) then that's it. The clothing closet had so many options to choose from too. They let me fill a bag for myself, my kids, and my husband. Super nice people and once the line starts moving it passes by quickly. So grateful to this church and the staff.
