St. Bede's Episcopal Church

My partner and I visited from Texas and were looking for an inclusive church to visit. Thankfully, we made a wonderful choice. I can wholeheartedly attest that Saint Bedes is welcoming and inclusive, and the love of God is present within the entire congregation. We were greeted, welcomed, and also blessed as a couple. One member specifically said, “You’re home.” We have never felt so loved and fully affirmed in a church before. I would absolutely recommend Saint Bedes as a safe and welcoming space for anyone in the LGBTQ community who is looking for a church home.

My cousin made arrangements with this church months ago to have her deceased daughters memorial there. When they had arrived at the church this morning, the secretory had acted surprised that she was even there. When my cousin had calmy tried to explain they made arrangements with this church, the secretary denied her entry. Forcing a grieving mother and father to make arrangements else where. Instead of at the church like they had planned. This is a disgusting excuse for a church, it is NOT God's work to turn away grieving mothers, thankfully they were able to make a respectable memorial for their daughter else where. If I were you, I wouldn't make celebration of life arrangements at this church. 1/5 stars.

Such an amazing congregation they have. Assisting families in need they provide such a blessing.

Welcoming to all who enter the doors. Warm and friendly atmosphere where folks genuinely are interested in getting acquainted.
