Very warm and welcoming atmosphere at this church. I live in the Bronx and travel to this church for Sunday service in NJ as often as possible. This church is into helping the community and strengthening men/women/youth through the word of the Bible. My experience has been amazing and positive. It's some place you must experience for yourself.

I love their wednesday afternoon senior gathering. I went there to pick up my mom and they welcomed me like I was one of the regulars. Since church is in a crime ridden neighborhood I wish they had security on staff or locked doors but I understand that might not be possible because of a tight money budget

Been my living church family for twenty-one years, and I am twenty-one as of writing. This church has provided me with nothing but beautiful memories and a strong base in the word of God for my life. Metropolitan Baptist Church is definitely the best church you could ever go to if your looking for a strong church family to encourage you and be there with you throughout your life’s challenges and achievements. I love this church.

While the service was great, the people and atmosphere... the one thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that politics worked its way into the service. Things were said that should've been kept to the pastor.
