All the people seemed nice enough. Not likely to find a wife there though. Not too many good looking single women in 20-30s attend this church. The Pasteur didn't bring his A game when I attended. Not a smooth easy to listen to or a relatable engaging approach. A lot of opinions, stumbling over words, uncertainty and quite frankly he was all over the place. I won't hold coughing loudly into the mic every minute or 2 against him. Tis the season!

When I started college (16 years ago), I wanted to find a church where college aged students wanted to talk about God, regardless of the denomination. Within my first two weeks I met multiple individuals that were a part of Candlewood's college group and couldn't believe that there were other peers that wanted to read the Bible and live it out. I met Jesus there in a new and exciting way. Unfortunately, I experienced extreme trauma over the years, and sadly associated a lot of my pain with the church. I held on to anger, bitterness, confusion, and disappointment for years. I write this to share that I've found freedom through Jesus over all of these ugly emotions and I can look back now and see clearer. Candlewood is not a perfect church, but there is no denying that they love God and want to show that love to our hurting world. Candlewood was a place of refuge for me for many years and many attendees still love me and pray over me through my messy life today. My family no longer goes there but that doesn't mean that the Candlewood people are no longer our family. If you are looking for Jesus and a family that will love you for you, Candlewood is worth checking out. Grace, faith, love, forgiveness, joy, and hope can be found there.

I have been attending Candlewood Church since September of 2015. Candlewood quickly became my home away from home, and those there became my family. I was involved in their college ministry and once I married I moved to the young married couples small group. I have made life long friends, in all life stages, and I know I can count on them for anything! I am proud to be a member of Candlewood! I love and enjoy living, learning, and serving along side the Candlewood family!

Been going here for 2.5 years and absolutely love it. Everyone is friendly, the music is great and the service is always great learning. Update- still going strong and loving this church. Each pastor brings something amazing to the sermons. Pastors Steve and Trevor bring a bit of humor. Pastor Gary is very passionate while pastor Xavier is kind and always smiling. And of course Pastor Rory brings such emotion to his sermons which is truly something amazing. Blessed to have found such a place to worship at and awesome people to worship with.

I’ve been a part of Candlewood ever since I married my husband 4 years ago. My favorite aspect of attending this church is the small groups. Its great making friends with a group in a similar stage as us: married with no children or small kids. It’s also great that there’s other groups for our parents and our single friends as well.
