Such a beautiful church! I went to see the el dia de los muertos offrendas and it was transcendent. They had a small fair outside of the entrance with traditional food and vendors. The offrendas were so beautiful and always have such an impact on me to see what people have created as a means of celebrating and inviting loved ones that have passed on. I felt like an encroucher but the parishners and clergy were very welcoming. This church offers such a sense of history, tradition and community.

Went to hear a presentation given by a author who wrote a book about the saints. We had permission to enter the church .After masses the church is closed. This was a free event

Beautiful old-world architecture and stained glass windows everywhere, in the second oldest continuously operating Roman Catholic church in the United States! If you can be there when they're doing a tour, you'll receive a wealth of fascinating information about it's history, and the history of our city and it's leaders.

Amazing old church located in southwest Detroit (Est. 1701). The inside is breathtakingly beautiful. What a treasure for the city of Detroit. Unfortunately, they don't allow walk-ins. To see it you either need to attend mass or be part of a pre-approved tour. If you're fortunate enough to see the inside prepare to be amazed.
