Kenwood Baptist Church at Victory Memorial

I was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church for nearly 8 years, and it was one of the most formative experiences of my life. I love this place and the people who make it what it is. It’s not a perfect church, but it’s a church that loves the Bible and strives to make mature disciples of Jesus Christ. May God bless the ministry of Kenwood for decades to come!

Kenwood Baptist Church exhibits faithful and excellent teaching and preaching combined with a congregation bound together in love. Reformed in theology and Baptist by conviction, the pastors hold Scripture to be the ultimate authority and seek to faithfully teach and apply the text to body. One of the core strengths at Kenwood is there emphasis on biblical theology, the patterns in Scripture that climax in Jesus as a single, unified story. From this unified picture flows a deeper underdtanding of the Bible's teachings and call on our lives. I'd eagerly commend this fellowship to broken looking for a relationship with and for the saint sojourning until the Lord returns or calls them home.

My husband and I have been blessed greatly by the preaching and fellowship of the church. We love how intentional the service structure is and the commitment to biblical exposition and orthodox doctrine have been life giving and encouraged.

We have been members of this church for over 3 years. Loving, kind congregation. Faithful preaching of the Bible. A church that serves its community. Potluck lunch after Sunday morning services, free pancake breakfast Saturday mornings.

Salvation is a serious matter: if improperly understood, you will suffer the consequences for eternity. This church espouses the Gospel in a clear and thoughtful way. I attend here and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about the Gospel and gaining a better understanding of God. Not only are the sermons powerful but the congregation is loving and welcoming!
