Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral is the first Greek Orthodox Church in Miami and was founded in 1927. Miracle place.✨ Grateful for the unwavering support of Father Spiro, the heart and soul behind our Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Thank you Lord.

I enjoyed it very much, the food was great, they had a small market which had jewelry, clothing, arts and crafts. Some authentic Greek stuff and miscellaneous stands that sell Greek products. I enjoyed the festival, it was nice to see young kids keeping their tradition of dancing their traditional Opa dance which they had like 4 shows the Sunday I went. I enjoyed listen to the history of the Cathedral and its surroundings. The food was really good would have love to try more food but we were already full. Will definitely go next time, the entrance for the festival was $7 p/p which it was ok to pay.

My child attends a wonderful preschool that rents space from St. Sophia Church. Unfortunately, the church has terminated the lease, and the school will have to vacate the premises at the end of June. Despite this, the church has made the last two months very uncomfortable for the children. For almost a month, the church cleaned the roof with chemicals, preventing the kids from using the playground. Every morning, as I drive my child to school, dust from the roof cleaning gets in our eyes. They couldn't wait until the school year ended or do the cleaning at a time when there were no children around. Once they finally finished with the roof—taking longer than expected—they started cleaning dust in front of the entrance. Again, they chose the morning, right when children are being dropped off, so all the dust blows into their faces. I'm completely disappointed. Shame on the administration of St. Sophia Church! Caring for others, especially children, is a basic value.
