Hiland Park Baptist Church

The preaching is solid. So will definitely try this church again. But it’s massive and can feel overwhelming, from the parking to finding your way in and to the right areas, especially if it’s your first time and don’t know the layout. We followed crowds in the side doors and ended up in the youth area. Someone in youth asked if we were new, helped my son check in and then told me how to cut through to the waiting area so I could wait for the next service. I sat in the foyer and observed from about 9:30-10:15 while I waited for the 9am service to get out and the 10:30 one to start. I was never greeted, no one ever spoke a word to me as they passed by, but I stayed. The service was really good, from the music to the preaching, which the message is what we came for. But if you’re late, you may not find a seat if you have 3 or more people and looking to sit together. Our daughter is moving to PC for college and my son is in The Nutcracker, so we’re looking for somewhere we can go while visiting PC and a church our daughter can call home. We’ll definitely try this church again. The message was solid and biblical and there wasn’t any fluff to it and it was delivered well. 5/5 for the preaching.

Well everyone today marks my official first time as an actual member of this church, I have been here more than once for 3 different occasions Night to Shine was one of them back in 2023 or maybe 2022 can’t remember exact, but then to witness baptisms for a girl I knew McKenna Blanks and my good friend Dominic Peck last year, but as usual Pastor Steven reminds of my former Pastor named Cole at Lighthouse Church they both produce similar messages about God and Jesus I will definitely be coming back every Sunday to worship! 🙏🏻

Large church filled with hundreds of friendly faces. The preacher is a super quick thinker, always has a message that's easy to follow, good presenter, and funny. Last week was the Beast Feast & car show with a famous sportsman speaker. 1600+ men attended. Had big drawing including poles, reels, guns, outboard boat, motor and gear.
