The Journey has been a blessing to my life in so many ways! 😇✝️🙌 At first I would just go on Sundays to sit, listen grab a coffee & run away. 😅 But when I made the decision to step out of my comfort zone, that's when things began to change. I signed up for a Spring JGroup just for a few weeks, to do arts & crafts and talk about Jesus. Ever since, I've been involved in one form or another. For me, the Journey has been a safe place for spiritual growth! I've had the opportunity to develop a relationship with God, connect with other believers, I was baptized in 2019 and enjoy volunteering to serve at community events whenever possible to share a message of love, life & hope in Christ! ❤️ Any relationship takes effort & commitment 🙂‍↕️ Getting plugged-in & becoming part of something greater than myself has made a difference for me! And for that I am so grateful! 🥲🙌 Come as you are, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step" Matthew 11:28 NLT [28] Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ❤️

I have been to several churches each time being let down in the end; I have always come back with a full welcome. The Journey is the place to be! The moment you pull in you have people helping you find the best parking spot possible and waving to greet you, you walk through the door you have several people greeting you, and asking you how you are, with full smiles. I have never been to a church where I've felt so welcome. If you are coming to see the service they are very open to helping you find the seat, you're most comfortable with. They start off with AMAZING WORSHIP, each weekend having a different list of songs. They have created such a peaceful environment to worship in. You are then welcome by the Pastor himself and seated to listen to an amazing serve. In the end, He explains that this message is for those who believe In Jesus and you are not forced to believe anything he or any who here believes. You are also giving an opportunity to give; they are very gracious and wish not to make anyone uncomfortable; I can count the times I have been embarrassed about not having anything to put in the bucket or pan, because of that don't pass anything, if you wish to give you can or if this is your home church but there's no pressure. This church has also gone above and beyond to create a safe place for and your children to go. Being that the sound in the gathering area can be loud for little ears they even have an amazing baby room where I have been welcomed to serve (which again is not forced). I actually meet a young lady who asked when I was showing her around if she was forced to serve as well, I said: "If you like to you can, but you are not forced it your choice." Her response surprised me "The last church I attend made all parents volunteer someone where in the church." In the kid's rooms, they teach them to know God, Love God and Live like He says. This church has been beyond welcoming, kind and become like a second family. The Journey has become my home church and I can't Thank all of those who have made it possible for it to run. So thank you to all those who make the kid's rooms run, the gatherings amazing including the production team as well as greeters, and a big thank you to the leading pastor for providing us with amazing messages. If I could give this more stars, I would. Hope to see you there!
